Stuck for things to do this month in Milton Keynes? We have researched some events that may take your fancy!
If you are up for live music, you are in for a treat with UB40 and Take That visiting Milton Keynes.
Birmingham’s world-famous reggae stars, UB40, have announced a massive tour in 2019 to celebrate their 40th anniversary! The band will be playing Arena MK on Friday 10th May 2019 as part of their 40 date tour across the UK.
If you are more of a Take That fan, you can catch them with special guest Rick Astley at MK Stadium on 23rd May!
The annual History Festival returns to Milton Keynes Museum from May 11th for 2 days!
Prepare to be taken through the centuries where you can meet a Roman Civilian Trader selling his wares, be able to interact with the Vikings and see an Iron Age Blacksmith at work.
The museum will also be welcoming the British Redcoats, the Queen’s Regiment 1714 in their splendid uniforms to show their manoeuvres.
All the museum’s usual attractions will be open too.
If you become a bit peckish, be sure to visit the Granary Cafe for some lunch and make sure to grab a slice of cake!
If you remember last year, the City Stay completed the London to Brighton bike ride, maybe if cycling is your thing, try a free guided cycle ride offered by Get Smarter Travel MK.
Each cycle ride is between 1-1.5 hours in duration and covers 5-10 miles depending on the age and ability of the group.

Overall, a very enjoyable 3 night stay. The apartment was well appointed with pretty much everything I needed. It was clean and well-presented on my arrival

The shower screen seal at the bottom didn't stop the water from running down the outside of the bath panel and all over the floor. I had to use a towel on the floor to contain the water. I suspect some of the water went under the bath panel and may cause problems
A mirror for shaving (in addition to the lovely big one) would be very helpful. I found it really difficult to get close to the mirror to shave properly
A slip mat in the bath/shower would also be helpful
Thanks again for your caring,
